May Books

SO many good books this month! Myra's butterflies must of brought them 😀

Feel The Bern-  a sweet hilarious cozy mystery, heavy on the sweet with maple syrup everywhere and a political twist. When things get too stressful or crazy in government, a book like this by Andrew Shaffer is a Perfect Escape.

Operation Underworld: How the Mafia and U.S. Government Teamed Up to Win World War II- The never-before-told true story of how mobster Charles “Lucky” Luciano—the U.S. Mafia boss who put the “organized” into organized crime—was recruited by U.S. Naval Intelligence to turn the tide of WWII.

Cheddar Off Dead,Curds of Prey and Gone for Gouda- all cozy mysteries by Korian Moss

This was my favorite- And If I Perish: Frontline U.S. Army Nurses in World War II byEvelyn M. Monahan and Rosemary Neidel Greenlee ★★★★★

  1. Linda, I thank you for bringing me the butterflies just when I need them most. I have been reading mostly cozy mysteries lately. I will have to check out the ones you read this month.
I haven't heard of the ones that you read, but you know I will check them out. Some days I read a book a day. Reading really helps pass the time, and some days feel so long. Tho the days have really flown by this year. The older I get the faster they fly. However, when you are waiting for something, the hours seem like days. Looking forward to checking out these reads.
