ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND HEALING TURMERIC GUMMIES
Every year I get a cold and unfortunately it never last a week. The cold virus seems to go straight to my lungs and I'm sick for weeks.
I've read about turmeric and saw this recipe on A squirrel in the kitchen.
When you see "gummies", I think a sweet treat. This is a healing gummie. They have honey but are not sweet. Adjust the amount of honey to your taste.

Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
3 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
Use a 9" x 6" ( or 2 quarts) Pyrex dish for this recipe.
Directions:
In a medium size saucepan, combine water, turmeric, honey.
Heat on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Check sweetness and adjust to taste.
Remove from heat and sprinkle gelatin powder over the warm liquid.
Whisk forcefully for 1 minute, making sure all the gelatin powder is dissolved.
Pour into a dish and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the gelatin is firm and you can cut it into it with a knife. Cut to the size gummie you prefer. You could also use a cookie cutter to make them in fun shapes.
Store in an airtight container. Will keep up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
