Ingredients:
1.5 pounds diced ham (about 4 cups)
3/4 cup mayo
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons white vinegar
Directions:
In a food processor, pulse diced ham until finely minced.
In a large bowl, combine ham, mayo, mustard, hot sauce, Worcestershire, and vinegar and stir to combine well.
Refrigerate for at least two hours for best texture and flavor. Serve on crackers, as a dip, or on a sandwich.
I didn't taste Deviled Ham until I was in my 30's. I attended a baby shower and they were setting up in the kitchen. I saw those little cans and knew the spread on the finger sandwiches wasn't homemade- LOL.
I never bought it cause it's 1. Canned
2. Expensive for the amount you get
in a can.
3. Gabe never asked for it.
We cooked a large ham and wanted to try this recipe.
WOW! This is SO GOOD!! Great way to use some of the leftover ham.
I never had deviled ham either. Things mixed in a can never appealed to me. This one sounds good. Leftover ham could be used up. All the ingredients are ones I like....strange for me, since you know I am very picky. I am saving this one for sure !!!
ReplyDeleteI knew it! I thought Myra will like this one and it's easy!
