Fruitful Morning Muesli
This is an old recipe that I made in 1998. I made a notation that I used OJ with calcium as a sub for the apple juice. I recently made it with apple juice and it's very good.
Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked old fashion oatmeal
2 cups apple juice
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh fruit
1 8 ounce container vanilla Greek yogurt
Directions:
1- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2- Cover and refrigerate overnight
3- Serve cold
Note: can be refrigerated up to 4 days.

I remember you making something like this with oatmeal before....I don't eat this, so will pass. My idea of breakfast is some specialK or Honey Nut cheerios...probably not the best, but this is what I like.
ReplyDeletesomewhere on the blog there are a few recipes for overnight oatmeal. This was an oldie in one of my hand written books and wanted to save it. Like it cause you can use OJ or Apple juice.
