Chris's Healthy Pumpkin "Ice Cream"

I saw this recipe on Cooking With Carlee and knew I had to try it.

Carlee's cousin Chris shared this recipe and it's SO good!

Ingredients:

4 large very ripe bananas, frozen
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1-2 tsp honey

Directions:

Blend together the frozen bananas and pumpkin in a food processor until smooth and creamy.

Slowly add in honey and blend until you get the level of sweetness you would like.

 Freeze two to three hours.

After taken out of freezer let it sit on the counter a few minutes to soften before using your scoop

Hint: I peel the banana slice to make medium size pieces. Place on a cookie sheet and place in the freezer. When frozen remove and place in freezer bags.

  11. We really don't eat much pumpkin in the UK, I must try some recipes. I need to find out if we sell tinned puree though as without, I guess it would be a bit harder! Thanks for linking to #featurefridays

  26. Linda I made this yesterday and it was out of this world. Next time I make it I am going to peel the Banana's first before I freeze them. The peeling of it left it sort of stringy and my hands were freezing. I will cut up the Banana's first and slightly freeze them. But it still came out great..My nephew is coming over today to help us take out our AC and store it for the winter. I will give him some and see how he likes it. Then I will tell him how to make it if he likes it. Thanks for the great ideas you come up with for us ..
