I made my first quilt with the help of Nancy and Stephanie at the senior center. The quilt is yours to keep and other quilts that are made at the center are donated back to the senior center.
This quilt was very different from my first one. I quilted around the spiders and spiderman. I also had to hand sew on the binding . The quilt was made for someone's grandson and I'm concerned that since the binding was hand sewed it won't hold and mentioned when I gave it to her that someone should machine the binding to make it stronger. If it happens the quilt will last, if not well all the hours I put into it I'm afraid will be for naught.
It was a learning curve making this one. I prefer making the other one but now I know how to do both.
This was setting the quilt up to pin
Once pinned I outlined each spider man
Once all the spidermen were outlined I did the "spiders" in the blue circle. I was going to do the spiders inside but it really didn't look that good so I pulled them out.
I wanted to finish it before we went home and this is the final quilt.
