Mr.Bob Karlstrand.

I have no idea if this was on the news but it was something I wanted to share.

This is awesome. Life changing start for a young veteran family that doesn't have to worry about a mortgage or rent. Property tax will probably be a couple thousand a year, which equates to about $200 a month for "rent."He also donated 1 million dollars to the University of Minnesota's nursing school.

  1. There's a special place in heaven for this man. What a wonderful thing he's done. He's right-it's all "stuff" and you can't take it with you. Why not give it to people that need it. He's helped so many already......and the gift of his home will pay it forward to another veteran and their family.

The world would be a much better place if people thought the way he did.

  2. How generous can one man be? He's gone above & beyond generous. He's going to make some people very happy. I hope he can live to see some of his generosity helping others.

  4. What an amazing story. This man is so very special and all of his gifts will be well appreciated by all. It is so wonderful that he is able to do this before he passes away, and can see some of the people who will benefit. There should be more people like him in this world.....it would be a much better place for us all.

  5. This is such an amazing story. I would like to see more folks do this . Especially those that win the lottery and have more than they can possible spend in their lifetime. But only to those that need it not the ones that are to lazy to get out and do for themselves. Wonderful Man ..God Bless Him...
