Poseidon and Zeus are drinking again
Cyndy is finally getting rain in her area! These aren't clouds above her house but I never saw Undulatus Asperatus clouds before. Doesn't it look like waves in the ocean? The photo was taken in Lincoln, NE in July and sorry I can not give credit to the photographer since no source was given. I saw it on reddit and wanted to share.
Here are the clouds moving. Undulatis aspiratus is a new type of cloud and one of the rarest. Commonly seen in northern climates such as Canada, Europe, and the UK.

Never would ever imagined seeing clouds like this. Amazing, it looks like the ocean has moved upwards. Nature has some of the most amazing sights. I enjoy watching clouds move, and I bet this would be a real show for me. Thanks for sharing Linda....and I am glad that Cyndy is finally getting some rain. Hope she doesn't get more than she needs.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the photo I wanted to share it.
DeleteThat is one amazing photo-and that video of them moving? You're right Linda, it looks like the ocean is in the sky.
ReplyDeleteHonestly? If I looked up and saw clouds that look like that I'd think the world is coming to an end. They're beautiful but scary at the same time.
Mother Nature does have some fancy tricks up her sleeve that's for sure.
I sure would love to see it.
DeleteThosse are scary looking clouds!
ReplyDeleteDid you watch the video Paddi?
DeleteThey are sure different. Never seen them like this before.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I wanted to share it Dottie.
DeleteFinally! I tried to post from my phone because I was so danged busy and it wouldn't let me. I've never seen clouds like this before, they're awesome. Yes, the rain is finally here and it's still here in drips and pours. But, we need it badly. I don't live near the mountains anymore since we moved further south to the next city. I can still see them from my front windows so I still feel connected to them. My cousin however still lives at the base of the foothills and has had some minimal damage due to the fires just behind them. it's supposed to start again tomorrow and I'm baking this weekend and yes, I did make more of the cream cheese sprinkle cookies. they're so addictive but so darned good! testing muffins today.......
ReplyDeleteWill we be graced with another guest post from you soon? I sure hope so!
DeleteIf I can get my tushy in gear & photo the stuff in making! :)
