It took awhile for me to find my first POST. I wondered what it was and no surprise it was the cream cheese pie that everyone loves.
ELEVEN years! Max is ten, Rip has been gone 11 and a half years. We have been in Florida about 13 years. Rip was with us when we bought the house in High Springs. Max was born in Buffalo, NY but became a Florida dog. He's not fond of the heat ( especially in the summer) but in the fall the back porch is his domaine.
From the first day I started the blog Myra has been with me. She comments on all the posts and has been my support in so many ways.
I was lucky to have two FABULOUS bakers and cooks join me in my little adventure. I thanks both Carol and Cyndy for making this blog better then it ever could of been.
Blogging has kept me entertained and at times frustrated. I enjoy finding new recipes but when blogger acts up it takes me forever to fix whatever is wrong.
Thank you to each and every person who has ever visited- even if it's only been one time. I hope you found something that makes you happy.
Can you post the cream cheese pie. I wonder if I have it from the Taste of Homes Board. I remember when you left it.

DeleteI can't believe it has been 11 years already. I remember so well when you started this BLOG. It was a way of keeping busy after Rip passed away. Also hard to believe that you have lived in Florida for 13 years. It has been even longer since we met on here 23 years ago, and have been through so many happy and sad times. I always love reading your recipes, and tho I may not make lots of them, I do make plenty and pass on others to people I know will like them. I hope you continue to post on here, and I know that I will always be here to read them and cherish the friendship we have.
ReplyDeleteWow Linda....11 years! Where did that time go? Good grief, I remember when you got Max....seems like yesterday. Thank YOU so much for allowing me to stop in and share some of my favorite kitchen creations. I so appreciate it.
