The recipe is from Hurst Public Library Friends & Celebrities Cookbook. It a VERY old cookbook. Has lots s good recipes from people who are no longer alive and who were very famous in their day.
I love corn bread, and Johnny Mathis. So funny, we went to see Johnny Mathis perform. Fred fell alseep at the table, and I had to keep kicking him to wake him up, since he snored really loud. Oh what a memory. Will have to try this recipe. Wonderful Wonderful. You came to me, like a kiss from the sea........I think that was the beginning.
Johnny Mathis was a staple in our home while growing up! Who knew he shared recipes?!

SO funny that Fred fell asleep!
DeleteI know who Johnny Mathis is...and I like to consider myself a "younger person!" ;)
ReplyDeleteI was at the gym yesterday and one of the girls saw my post. She's in her 20's ( maybe younger) and she had no idea who he was.
