My friend Mey isn't feeling well. Good time to get the IP out ad bring her some soup!
This soup sounds like it will be good for Mey, and you are a great friend to make it for her. I hope she is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI know what you are thinking- yes, I was carful. I left the soup at the door. I called her first to let her know it was on the way. She liked it but picked out the ham!!! LOL
DeleteI know you were careful. I worry about you too tho.
DeleteI am sure your soup will hit the spot with Mey. I Pray she feels better soon. Linda I love Pea Soup and I have a hard time making it now. It was my Son's favorite and he used to bring me a bag of peas and I knew he wanted Mom to make it for him. Which I did with Pleasure. It is also one of my favorites. I will try to make this and think of my Son waiting for his share. I miss him so much..
ReplyDeleteDottie- your son is still alive in your heart. I know this time of year is very hard for you. If you ever need me- I'm just a click away.
DeleteAwww Dottie. It is so hard when we find reminders of what our loved ones loved. You should make this soup, and know that your son is with you in spirit when you eat it. Big Hugs
DeleteIt's funny. I like the yellow split peas but not the green. Your soup looks wonderful and I'm sure a welcome gift to your friend.
ReplyDeleteJudee- I didn't even know I had a bag of yellow split peas in the pantry. I was looking for something else and told Gabe that I was making the soup for Mey.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and if I don't get a chance to chat with you again- Merry Christmas.
