Secret Floridian Resort & Spa Chocolate Chip Cookies Shared

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks butter), softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12-ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. ( recipe called for 330 degrees but I cooked them at the above)

Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl and set aside. I added flour mixture to a bowl and used a whisk to sift.
Combine butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar in a separate bowl and cream with electric mixer until fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla. Mix until combined, scraping sides of bowl.

Slowly add flour mixture, scraping sides of bowl. Stir in chocolate chips.

Scoop 1 tablespoon dough for medium cookies and 2 tablespoons for large onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake until light golden, 10 to 12 minutes for medium cookies, 12 to 14 minutes for large

***The quintessential all-American treat, chocolate chip cookies get their very own holiday on May 15. Disney theme parks might be closed until further notice, but that doesn’t mean we need to stay completely deprived of their dessert offerings. This recipe is from the Grand Floridian.

Earlier this week, the Disney Parks Blog published the secret recipes including the above.  ****

    1. This is a Disney recipe but Disney has their TM and they don't want others to use it thus I just added "secret" in place of Disney.

They posted a bunch of recipes so they shared it and I made it so I passed it along to you.

So far everyone I gave them to loved them!

    1. You know me Carol, I'm always on the lookout for something new.

They weren't a soft cookie BUT I didn't bake them at 330 degrees. No sure if it would of made a difference. I had two, Gabe had one that he shared with Max. They were good but my favorite is still the Jello Pudding Chip cookie with the extra vanilla. It's soft and love the taste.
