Pass the butter!



 Plate number is for Chelyabinsk region, city in the pic is Magnitogorsk. Countries of the former USSR know how to bake bread. There are two independent cases of San Francisco bakers flying old babushka state-run bakery workers to the Bay area to study their methods.

Everyone always raves about French this and Italian that ... Ukrainian bread. So criminally underrated.

  1. That is one big BEAUTIFUL loaf of bread. Here's my question...where do they come up with the pan to put it in and the oven to bake it in? Wow!

  2. WOW !! They must use some kind of HUGE pan......and yes Carol....where would they find an oven to bake this in. Wonder how many people it takes to lift this.

    1. As mentioned on Carol's and Myra's comment when I first saw it I thought it was real then naturally I went with photo shopped. As mentioned a guy from the area posted and said many trucks in that area do that.
