    1. He turned out to be such a happy guy. He was so unhappy when we got him and didn't want to be around us. Remember how Gabe had to do car therapy?

  6. Oh my goodness, this looks like my Lexi. She was the furry love of our lives. Last January she passed away (cancer) in my kitchen. We had rescued her and ours was the only real home she ever knew. I prayed and said "Lord, please don't make me have to do this. Please take her right here" It was 5 hours before our appointment to put her down - she was in so much pain we had to for her sake- and He took her. I miss her so. We have a dear baby girl, Sadie, who is almost 3 but, don't tell Sadie, Lexi was our favorite. There was just something about her deep, loving heart.

    1. Sinea- Max is our third Lab. Rex was our first- he was with us 14 years. Rip was my heart. He was a big 115 pound love bug. He would fall asleep on my lap every night.

He died from Lymphoma when he was 10. It tore my heart out when he died.

I was a major mess. I didn't get off the couch. I cried for weeks.

One night for some unknown reason it came to me to start a blog. Now if you knew me, this is NOT something I would do.

I'm not computer savvy, heck I'm not even on google plus because it scares me!

Anyway Hubby needed another dog so I decided to make part of my blog all about Max's life.

You were blessed that Lexi crossed the rainbow bridge at home. Rex and Rip had to go to the vets office- which was horrible.

I am so glad you connected with me. Thank you and I hope we can stay in touch.

  7. I had to come back and share this link. There is a great picture of Lexi and Sadie from two summers ago. Doesn't Lexi look like Max? Maybe they are relatives!
