MM 139 Weeks

When we are in a large crowd I discourage people from petting Max. It's not that Max would hurt them but people do stupid things and I don't want anyone or Max to get hurt.

Walking past this young lady I saw the look on her face. She saw Max and the look was pure Lab Love.

I told her he was gentle and she got down on the street to pet him. We didn't have to tell her and didn't have to tell Max not to do anything, it was a moment of sheer happiness for both of them.

  1. Wonderful pictures !! You can tell this young lady LOVES dogs. Dogs can tell who is going to love them, and this is one of those. When you are out walking your dog, people who like dogs will smile and give you a nod. These pictures made my day. Wish I was the one there.

  3. Who doesn't smile when they see Max? Dogs are are so intuitive, guess that's why they use them for therapy. They can make you smile without trying. Happy Monday!

    1. Some people say he's a fat dog. They have no idea what a English Lab looks like. When they smile it isn't because he's a good looking dog, they are smiling cause they are laughing at him.

We are use to it and just keep on walking.

  6. Awww That's wonderful. I'm a Lab lover too! We have a Black Lab. She's 12 now, and starting with her arthritis. It makes us sad because we already lost one Lab, but she lived until she was 17 yrs. The Vet said Labs don't usually live that long, but then he said "She must be well loved"! You bet your sweet...., she is"! There the best dogs ever. Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures. Following you. Hope you can find some time to stop by and follow me on my Linky Followers! Thanks.
