Live Oak, Florida- Recipe Exchange
I was thrilled when I read in a local paper that the library was starting a recipe exchange.
The first one was crockpot recipes and this as you can see by the book Rhoda is holding, casseroles were featured this month.
People can bring in a favorite dish to sample or just come in to have a bite to eat.
I made Quinoa Enchilada Casserole, the recipe will be posted this week.
Here are the other Casseroles. I added the recipes to each under the photos

What fun! And what a great idea having a once a month thing with a different category every month. This is something right up your alley Linda.....and I know that quinoa casserole had to be a hit.....especially if it's like the broccoli one you got me hooked on!
ReplyDeleteSo what's the subject for April? :)
appetizers- think I'll make the strawberry wonton cups. Do you have a recipe you want to share? (wink)
DeleteThis is great. It is great to have recipes that others have made and is a favorite. Some of the casserole recipes I have never heard of. Never heard of a Pineapple one, so I have to try this out. I look forward to seeing what the next month's will be. Do they have cook books made up with their recipes in them?
ReplyDeleteThe pineapple recipe was from a lady who lived in Hawaii.
DeleteThis should a fun gathering, Linda! Too, a good way to meet new people. Looking forward to your recipe.
ReplyDeleteI must say the pineapple one is different. I would enjoy that but I think it would be a hard sell to my fuss pots! :-)
LOL Angela! Gabe would never eat it the pineapple one!
