Banana Pumpkin Breakfast Shake
I wanted to make this but didn't have the 'perfect' glass for a photo. The flea market is back in town and I was lucky to find this one. Not only is the dish perfect for my collection but this recipe is delicious.
recipe from Dine & Dish
Ingredients:
1 banana
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup milk
4 Tablespoons honey (or 2 Tablespoons brown sugar)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2-3 cups ice
whipped cream or Cool Whip for garnish
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Top with cool whip or whipped cream.
Pour into two tall milkshake glasses.

I have some of those dishes! I've had them for..............gulp..........about 40 years. Robin always thought it was a treat to have a hot fudge sundae in one.....guess they made the ice cream taste better.
ReplyDeleteI love that photo Linda......and I would be VERY happy having one of those shakes for breakfast. :)
I was such a little piggy and ate the whole thing! Carol- it was really good!
