Alachua Halloween Decorations

Main Street Alachua  is unique this time of year. I noticed the Halloween decorations when I was visiting the library. I didn't have my camera so I went back a few days later and took these
photos

Here are a few for those who don't want to click on the link

  1. Holy cow! They REALLY go all out for Halloween huh? The town that Robin lives in has a "scarecrows on the common" Saturday where you pay a fee and make a scarecrow then the chamber of commerce puts them up all over town. Kind of cute.

I don't blame you for going back with your camera and snapping photos Linda-those are amazing!

  2. How cool is this, so creative and scary. I like the one with pumpkin head running into the post

  3. Loved all of the photos.....Those small towns sure know how to decorate and do the holidays. I can't wait to see what they do for Christmas. It is great when everyone takes part in the holiday and goes all out. The last one on the photos, the one you posted, is really a scare. That mask is a horror.

Thanks Linda, I enjoyed the "treat". Great idea of the town that Robin lives in, Carol. Make some money for the town while having fun.

    1. I wonder what some of the little kids think when they see them?

  5. Lot of effort to get the town all decked out for Halloween. Must have a lot of volunteers to do this.

    Thanks, Linda.

    1. I think each business in town makes one. For example Sonny's BBQ you might of noticed had a big pig- cute way to promote their business.
