Robin Williams Tribute

  1. It's still so hard to believe he's gone. What a beautiful tribute to him. He touched the lives of SO many with his comedy and all of his wonderful movies. There are so many I had forgotten about.

I bet he's making them laugh in Heaven too. He will be missed......may he be at peace.

    1. Jack was on the top of my favorite movies- watching The Birdcage and again and just as funny when I first saw it.

  2. He definitely will be missed. Sure hope he's not looking down reading some of the comments people are writing. Why does it always have to turn into something nasty? Don't get me wrong, there were some very touching comments but there are those who need to spoil everything with their negativity.

    1. Angela-

no matter where you go there are "negative" people. Heck it was one of the reasons I left a recipe board! People can't even get along talking about food.

When people put other people down there is something missing and wrong in their life- which is sad.

Mr. Williams did so much good and it's THAT'S what he will always be remembered for not the negativity.

  3. My heart aches for what he must have been going through. He was such a funny guy, and I hope they put on reruns of Mork and Mindy, because I want to watch them again. I would also love a marathon of his movies, so I can watch them together. It is so sad how some people are talking about him so negative......remember him for all he did to make us laugh.

    1. I love what his daughter Zelder said about the negative comments- may all those people who said negative things - may a thousand pigeons poop on their newly washed car.

  4. Everyone has a battle to fight. I've worked as a psychiatric nurse before for 6 yrs and have seen some truly gifted minds fight unimaginable battles. The negativity that some have to spew is born from ignorance and is very sad in itself. Some of the brightest minds have difficulty with common sense. The world needs to be more sensitive to everyone for we all have different situations to deal with. This was a great loss because he was very gifted and had the ability to make people smile even when they didn't want to. This was a permanent fix to a temporary situation, all things pass in time. I wish he would of given it more time. He will be missed by so many.

    1. Totally agree. American Indian Proverb – Never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins.

  5. This tribute was the best by far. He was a wonderful man. I think of the song funny little clown. Robin Williams was that clown.Laughing On the outside. But crying on the inside. I pray his death wasn't in vain. Maybe now the medical will fix this illness and not just hand out a pill.

I have to wonder if God is able to finish a word without Robin taking over and making God ROFLOL? Thank you Robin for all the laughter you have given me. You will be missed...RIP Robin Williams
