BRAVO for her !!!!!!!! No way does she look or act like she is 98. She is very with her mind and her actions, and she should be able to have the choice of being independent. I know some people of 70 who should not be driving. I only wish I would be as healthy as her when I turn 70.
Good for her! She is one amazing lady for her age....and beautiful! I wish everyone would be as sharp as she is in their 90s......heck I'm not that sharp now some days and I'm a ways away from her age. She reminds me a lot of my Mom's sister before Aunt Jerry got sick..........she was driving into her late 80s and was always dressed to the nines.
Heck I know some people in their 30s and 40s who have no business driving..........my hat's off to her for taking the steps to PROVE she's still able to drive....and she's taking good care of her friend too.
The world oughta have more people like her in it..............it would be a heck of a lot better place.
God bless her. What a lovely Lady. This brought tears to my eyes. She has such a cheerful, lovely attitude about life. We could all learn from this sweetheart. I agree there are some much much younger that should not be driving.
Great story Linda. She made me smile. I have quite a few patients that are in their golden years who are very independent & sharper mentally than some of the nurses I work with!
