UGH, whatever happened to 1 apple and 1 apple = ? many apples. I would fail first grade for sure.
You're not alone Myra-I'd be right there failing with ya. My youngest grandson is in first grade and I don't ever remember Robin saying he came home with something like this. The 8th grader? That's another story-he's brought home math homework that about made his mother's head explode.
In the immortal words of Jimmy Buffett ....Math Sucks ( it's from a song on one of his albums...) I think I figured it out but I wanted to see what you all got! That's not cheating...really!
Paddi, you really wanted me to figure that out?? Ugh, I can't remember how to do anything any more. I guess if I looked long enough, I would figure it out, but these days, I have no patience for anything. Love Jimmy Buffett tho !!!!!!
Paddi- Gabe figured it out. Does it have to do with the dots?
Good grief. We would have to go back to school to help our grandkids/ kids with their homework. I think I know what's missing but I don't want to say and be wrong and look dumber than a first grader. LOL
Who has the answers to this . LOL
Oh my, I don't know where to start! How in the world can you help a child with homework without attending the same math class they do?
