1 15 ounce can chickpeas
1 1/2 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (didn't use)
1/2 teaspoon paprika ( used smoked paprika)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Drain and rinse the chickpeas and dry on a paper towel and set aside.
In a medium size bowl combine all the spices and the olive oil. Toss the chickpeas in the spice mixture and spread the chickpeas on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, remove- toss the chickpeas and cook for another 15-20 minutes. You want the chickpeas to be brown and crispy.

this sounds like something I would like.....I LOVE Chick Peas......what is Slap yo Mama??
ReplyDeletePaddi told me about Slap ya Mama. I looked it up because I never heard of it either. When Gregory was home he said that's all they use on the boat. The grocery stores around here don't carry it but when we were in Cedar Key I found it in a small store.

gonna check it out, I am guessing it is something real spicy. Me and spice love each other, however, my afterparts don't love me when I eat it......too bad afterparts.
