Mango Mousse - EASY!
This recipe is from Jo and Sue. I actually drove to the grocery store to pick up peach baby food the day I found the recipe. Carol and Cyndy and I were planning peach week and I wanted to add the recipe.
I found the baby food isle and then realized no reading glasses! I couldn't see or find a jar of peach and had to ask someone to find one for me. As soon as I got home I added the yogurt and the cool whip and WOW- it's fantastic. It never made peach week, I ate the whole thing!
Mango's were on sale and I knew it would be delicious in the mousse.
Bonus it's easy! You can enjoy it any time of the day.
Ingredients for the Basic Mousse:
1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup cool whip
For the Mango Mousse
1 ripe mango- peeled and chopped in the food processor
Place the mango in the food processor and puree.
Add the yogurt and pulse a few times
Place the mango/yogurt mixture in a medium size bowl and gently fold in the cool whip.
