Alternatives

It's was a horrible winter. It would be nice if local areas had something like this for the homeless. I know there are shelters but THIS would help the people whom might have a pet and whom are not allowed in due to their furbaby.

  1. What a great-and creative-idea! I'm with you Linda-it sure would be great if others started something like this. It's serving 2 purposes too-recycling what some think is "trash" and making it into a "home" for someone that doesn't have one. God bless that gentleman for coming up with this idea.

Hopefully now that it's hit the Internet it will spread like wildfire and others will do this too........

    1. Only silly crap spreads like wildfire- we know stuff like this is great but someone needs to push the idea.

  2. I was amazed at what these "homes" look like. In this age of so much trash and no where to put it, this is a great way to use all the good "trash" some companies throw away without a thought. It is so sad how much waste there is. The only problem I can see with these homes, is that there is not a place to let them stay. I bet lots of people will complain about seeing them on the streets. This would be a great project for some of the people who need to do community service. I am with you Carol, I hope others will take a hint and help out.

  3. This is a wonderful idea. But in some area's they would frown on it because they would say it attracts unwanted folks. Which is so sad to think that this can happen. I myself would love to see all homeless folks to have a nice warm shelter like these. I wouldn't mind them in my own home town. We need to take care of our homeless.

  4. Wow, that is unique and I agree. many shelters won't accept any pets at all which I find terrible but do understand why. fleas, ticks, allergies. but all the same, they need shelter too and I think this would provide a fantastic alternative.

    1. It was the first thing I thought Cyndy. Pets need to be warm and with the person who loves them it's a win- win for both.
