Snow Tunnel

I know the people back home are getting hit with a horrible winter. We stream NY news and when they show the weather Gabe has informed me he is NEVER going back north. He said as far as he's concern he hopes he never has to see another snowflake in his life.

New York and Boston have lots of snow but check this out-

 Prince Edward Island

  1. Oh COME ON GABE-where's your sense of adventure? :)

This winter has been AWFUL I will say that...but after seeing that video? I'll say no more. Our snow is deep but it's NOTHING like that. I'd be afraid that tunnel would cave in with me in there.

What a helpless feeling standing outside looking at that amount of snow. I can't imagine. I know how I feel with the volume we have and that's nothing compared to what that guy was dealing with.

We have some shoveling to do today.....5 weekends in a row with storms. This has gotten REALLY old. Three words come to mind right now....HURRY UP SPRING!

    1. Remember that photo I sent you with the flowers on the snow? Think those people felt the same way!

  2. Carol......we have had snow, but no where near the amount you have gotten this year. I can sympathize with you, since last year was a bad one for us. We have had the weekend storms also, and the one from yesterday has me wanting to get out of this house and find somewhere else that has people to shovel and take care of things.

I am amazed at what this guy did shoveling a tunnel. Like Carol, I would be afraid of getting caved in. I guess people get used to living in the areas where they see loads of snow all the time, but I am with Gabe, I wouldn't care if I never saw another snowflake.

Spring better SPRING fast, or else.

  3. Can't imagine digging out from that snow storm! Makes me wonder how many heart attacks were reported. Not a nice thought but a very real event in winter.

We have snow but in fact, we haven't had tons of it. Mind you winter hasn't had it's last hurrah yet, I am sure. We've been known to get a good blizzard in March. Fingers crossed that we and so many others are spared much more.

    1. Gabe's parents said it hasn't been bad in Montreal either. Hope spring comes early for you.

  4. Omg. He's l lucky it didn't crush his car or worse, cave in on him.

Carol, do you have body builder arm muscles from all that digging? I don't wish that much snow on anyone,
    !

    1. I think it must be something they do on PEI. I would be inside and not digging a tunnel!

  5. Wow that is some tunnel. I couldn't get into this the other day. But today I did. I would have been afraid it would have fallen down on top of me. I am sure it was warm in there too.

    1. I was thinking the same thing. I bet when he was digging it out he took off a few layers of clothing.
