My Christmas Wish

Is that Buck finds a forever home.

I started volunteering at the Lake City Humane Society. The first day I  walked two dogs and Buck ( who I thought was named Baxter) was a great dog to walk.

He doesn't pull and loves to stroll and enjoys his time outside.

He does have health issues and I also feel he should be in a home with an older person . He has problems with his front legs. Not sure what the problem is but I know with lots of love and attention someone could help this lovable boy.

Max would annoy him to death and it wouldn't be fair to Buck  if I brought him home. Buck can not play and you know what a crazy little play pup Max is.

I would appreciate if you shared this page. The more shares it gets maybe someone will see him and give him the loving home he deserves.

  1. I'll add my wishes to yours that Buck finds the perfect people to adopt him.

You're doing a wonderful thing volunteering at the shelter, Linda. I don't think I could do it.....I'd want to take every dog home with me and it would break my heart to leave them.

Buck looks like a sweet boy that would be a wonderful companion to someone.......here's hoping our combined Christmas wishes come true.

  2. Awww, I will add my wishes also. I am too far away to share this, but I hope he finds a forever home also. It is so sad when you go to the shelters and see all the wonderful dogs who need homes. I am like you Carol....it would break my heart. I went with a friend on Sunday who is looking for a dog to adopt. When we walked in to the SPCA, I wanted to cry. The dogs were wagging their tails and so happy to see you. Let's hope all the homeless dogs find a home.

    1. He's in a no kill shelter and I bought him a bed so he doesn't have to lie on the cold cement.
