MM 116 Weeks

Max needed his annual  check up and we decided to get it done in Florida.

You might remember when we took him to the vet at home we were told that his back teeth were in need of a deep cleaning. He said  brushing  would help and  buy a beef bone for him to chew on which would also help remove tartar.

We wanted the vet down here to check his teeth and Max also needed blood work and his shots.

They took him in the back and when he returned to the room he had a butterfly scarf on! Anything with a butterfly is very special to my friend Myra and I couldn't wait to get home to tell her.

His blood work came back great and the vet said his teeth look beautiful.

Getting down on the floor every night to brush sure is paying off!

  1. Awwwwwwwwwwww look at him with his new neckerchief-he looks so cute! Bet he's glad that visit to the vet is done and over-our dogs HATED the vet.

Glad to hear the tooth brushing is doing the trick. Never thought about dogs having gum problems but it stands to reason I guess.

    1. Max loves the attention at the vets. The girls behind the desk make a fuss over him and tell him he's so cute and he forgets where he is ;-)

  2. I couldn't wait to get on here today to see Max with the butterfly scarf. What a great way to start off my week. It is so pretty....Thank you Linda. I am so proud of you also for sticking to the tooth brushing for Max. It can't be easy, and I know Chase would never let me near his mouth. I am so glad that his blood work came back great, and all is fine. Now he can play and enjoy his Florida home. He looks so handsome, and he looks very contented.

    1. We have to do the blood work due to all the ticks at home. I pulled off a bunch this summer and we need to stay on top of Lymes. It's such a nasty disease. I wish Luna's was picked up sooner. she was in bad shape when we left.

  3. He looks Handsome but then when doesn't Max look handsome. sounds like a good visit all the way around. Not one of my dogs have ever liked going to the vet but they sure did want to get out that door fast. He's all set for the year now. Have a good day ladies~
